Hugo Fonseca, DO

Dr. Hugo Fonseca graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry. He consequently worked in basic science and clinical research at Miami Children’s Hospital where he was a co-author in several journal publications. Thereafter, he attended Nova Southeastern University earning his degree in medicine, and moved on to complete his internship and residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He completed his rheumatology fellowship training at the University of North Texas-PMC, where he was heavily involved in multiple clinical trials. Dr. Fonseca enjoys the practice of general rheumatology but has special interest in rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, osteoporosis, spondyloarthropathy, inflammatory muscle disease, crystal arthropathy, and osteoarthritis.
